ABOUT US Black Diamond Ranch is located in Danielsville, GA near Athens, GA. The ranch is family owned and run by a mother and daughter team. Judy, the mother, raises, breeds and shows Miniature horses. Tasha, the daughter, helps out with the miniatures. In 2008, we purchased our first Quarter horse for Tasha to trail ride with. Tasha fell in love with the versatile breed and decided to raise and (in the future) breed Quarter horses. So, she started searching for mares first. I selected mares of young age (anywhere from weanling to four years old) because I want to raise them my way and get to know each and everyone by their own personalities. At this time, I have six mares. For me, this is the perfect, small herd of mares for a first time breeder. More mares will be added in the future. |
