In 2009, we purchased our stallion, SMART BLACK BUDA,
a homozygous black grandson of Smart Little Lena. He came from a ranch in
Texas. This boy has everything that I have been looking for in a perfect stallion.
He is very correct all around. He has a nice conformation, sweet disposition, great
pedigree and not to mention the black color. He carries the homozygous black gene
which means he cannot sire a sorrel or chestnut foal. He already went through
ground training for manners and has been saddled a few times by me. Did not mind
the saddle at all. This spring he will be sent to a trainer to be broke to ride. In the
future, I am hoping to find a good cutting trainer to get him started on cutting and
to get him out there and compete, just like his grandsire, Smart Little Lena. He is
very athletic, smart and a quick learner.

Royal will be enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund
for breeding season 2011.

I cannot wait to see what this boy will produce for us!!
